Supreme Court

The Supreme Court is the highest court in the United States. It contains nine justices and is located in the Supreme Court Building in Washington D.C. It holds the power to invalidate laws or other government actions that violate the constitution. Since September 29th, 2005, the chief justice has been John Roberts.
